Music:

Their tracks feature monotonous, looping, guided vocals and danceable, layered beats with electronic sound cues and famous bass lines.

Style:

The Cossacks played a very important role in shaping the national history and culture of Ukraine. However, the group claims that their name has nothing to do with the Cossacks, but that it is a derivative of the Japanese word Kazaki, a popular name in Japan. The group admits that they are very inspired by Japanese culture. All four members are trained dancers and the group is renowned for their challenging, acrobatic and exciting choreographic routines that combine well and are challenging in dance moves performed in high heels. The group confronts gender norms by combining male and female attributes together, most notably by regularly wearing stilettos in videos and live performances.

Fashion:

Due to their bold and unusual fashion sense, the group has been featured in a number of high profile publications such as Attitude, Billboard, GQ, Los Angeles Times, New York Post, and The New York Times. After Anna Osmekhina created her fashion for the music video "Love", Kazaky hired her to design her outfits and create her videos. However, the band also wore clothing from Dsquared and Thierry Mugler. Their high-heeled shoes are 14 centimeters long and are designed for them to dance comfortably in their stage performances. The group has a penchant for elaborate, decadent and highly structured costumes
